Cleveland Indians vs. Tampa Bay Rays – 07/11/2010

The Cleveland Indians and the Tampa Bay Rays will both be gunning for a victory on Sunday when they meet at Tropicana Field.

The Indians will give the ball to starter Justin Masterson in this one. Righthander Masterson is 3-8 this season with a 5.22 ERA.

It’ll be Jeff Niemann toeing the rubber for the Rays in this contest. Righthander Niemann is 7-2 with a 2.65 ERA so far this season.

San Francisco Giants vs. Washington Nationals – 07/11/2010

The fans at Nationals Park will be treated to a game between the San Francisco Giants and the Washington Nationals when they take their seats on Sunday.

The Giants will pin their hopes on the pitching of lefthander Madison Bumgarner in this game. Bumgarner has a 1-2 record and a 2.86 ERA this season.

The Nationals will counter Bumgarner with Livan Hernandez. Righthander Hernandez has a 3.12 ERA to go along with a 6-4 record this season.

Oddsmakers currently have the Giants listed as 105-moneyline favorites versus the Nationals, while the game’s total is sitting at 8½.

Buster Posey went 4-for-5 with a home run and three RBIs on Saturday, as the Giants beat the Nationals 10-5. The Giants won that game as -115 favorites, and the 15 runs sailed OVER the posted over/under (8.5) set by sportsbooks.

Juan Uribe also drove in three runs for the Giants, and Santiago Casilla tossed under an inning of relief for the win.
