Iowa State Cyclones vs. Texas A&M Aggies – 10/31/2009

NCAA FootballKyle Field will host the Iowa State Cyclones and the Texas A&M Aggies  on Saturday.

The Aggies are posted as 6-point favorites against the Cyclones, and the game’s total is 61.

Nebraska committed eight turnovers, including four inside the Iowa State five, and the Cyclones pulled off the upset 9-7 in week eight. The Cyclones covered the large 20.5-point spread, while the final score played well under the day’s over/under total of 51.5.

Texas A&M upset its rival, Texas Tech, 52-30 at Jones AT&T Stadium in week eight, and the Texas A&M covered as a 22-point road underdog while the final score played over the 65.5-point total.

Toronto Raptors vs. Memphis Grizzlies – 10/30/2009

The Raptors are posted as 3½-point favorites against the Grizzlies, and the game’s total is 195.

The Raptors Andrea Bargnani poured in a game-high 28 points, and  Chris Bosh had a double-double with 21 points and 16 rebounds to lead  to a 101-91 win over the Cavaliers on Wednesday. The Raptors won the game as a 7.5 point underdog, and the 192 points went UNDER the posted total of 194.

The Grizzlies were defeated 96-74 by the Pistons on Wednesday, as 2-point underdogs. The combined score went UNDER the posted total of 191.5.

Marc Gasol tossed in a double-double with 21 points and 15 rebounds in the loss.

Denver Nuggets vs. Portland TrailBlazers – 10/29/2009

nba-logoPortland’s Rose Garden will host the division rivalries Denver Nuggets and Portland Trail Blazers on Thursday.

Portland is a 7 point favorite, and the over/under is 198.

The Nuggets got off to a slow start but roared back in the second half for a 114-105 victory over the Jazz on Wednesday. The Nuggets covered the 5.5 point spread, while the 219 points made it OVER the posted total of 209. Carmelo Anthony led the way with 30 points, eight rebounds and five assists, while Chauncey Billups added 25 in the win.

Portland covered as 8.5-point home favorites. Travis Outlaw drained 23 points off the bench to lead the Trail Blazers past the Rockets 96-87 on Tuesday night, and the teams played under the 185 posted point total.

Philadelphia Flyers vs. Washington Capitals – 10/27/2009

Boston College Eagles vs. Notre Dame Fighting Irish – 10/24/2009

Boston College, lead by Montel Harris, put on a show rushing for 263 yards and five touchdowns to lead  to a 52-20 win over North Carolina State in week seven. The Eagles easily covered the 7.5-point spread, while the final score played OVER the day’s posted total of 47.5.

Jimmy Clausen threw for 252 yards and two touchdowns as well as rushing for one TD for Notre Dame in a 34-27 loss to USC in Week 7.
