NFL Sunday Ticket – Football From Satellite

Filed under: Sports — admin @ 12:35 pm

The world of sports is currently driven by television rights.

NFL LOGO

Selling television rights is a major source of revenue for all sports leagues in the world. National Football League (NFL) of the USA is also no exception to this phenomenon. In fact, NFL games are packaged in a number of ways through various media. Several surveys have shown that NFL games are the most keenly anticipated television broadcasts. NFL Sunday Ticket is a kind of repackaging the games, especially of yur top sports picks, through a satellite television channel. Its aim is to allow people who do not have access to cable TV networks to watch these games live.

What Is NFL Sunday Ticket

The deal for television rights of NFL is a lucrative opportunity for television networks. The television rights of NFL are not given to a single television channel throughout the USA. It is given to various television broadcasting companies in different regions. The structure of the league suits such a distribution. In the league, first there are league games in two conferences: American Football Conference and National Football Conference. Then there are playoffs in which top twelve teams of the leagues participate. Then there is the final called the Super Bowl.

The telecast rights of different regions are given to different television companies. CBS, FOX, NBC, ESPN, and the NFL Network are among the television companies that provide live telecast of NFL matches of various regions. This results in a scenario in which people who reside outside their home state may not be able to watch their home team’s action. NFL Sunday Ticket is for such people.

Currently DirecTV, a satellite television program provider, has the rights for NFL Sunday Ticket. This television channel is not available through cable network. One should have subscription of DirecTV for watching the games. Matches can be watched on the internet also on a pay per view basis.

NBA – Celtics Are Unstoppable!

The current NBA Champions seem unstoppable this season as they are still at the top place of the NBA with 22 wins and only 2 losses. The Big three and his coach Doc Rivers has so much to offer this season that their basketball, their defense and consistency are one of the best you can see currently in the NBA, making them one of the top sports picks.

Ray Allen is having one of the best seasons of his career since he injured his ankles back in 2006, averaging 18.9 points per game, while Garnett is also doing a great job averaging 9.60 rebounds per game and scoring 16.3 points per game. For his part, Paul Pierce is doing his thing in the court, averaging 18.8 points per game and having the team’s second best percentage in assists with 3. 8. On the other hand, Rondo and Tony Allen are the other two players supporting the team and giving a great contribution with their game to the Celtics.

Doc Rivers is really excited and satisfied with watching his team playing on the best of their abilities and the most important thing, enjoying the game more than ever. Coach Rivers has focused his team on a great defense and an outstanding effort at each and every minute in the court. He has expressed that with a good defense the offense is done by itself, that way if the team is doing a great defense; they get also motivated to score.

We also have to mention that this team is having a lot more chemistry this year; Garnett, Allen and Pierce together have been a pillar for the team and the leaders that motivate each one of their teammates. Nevertheless, it’s obvious that their desire and understanding at each game is coming into one and it is reflected in every game you watch of the Boston Celtics. Each and every one of them is completely committed to his role.

In the Celtics there is not one super star and that is a fact, there are more than three super stars and leaders and that’s what makes Boston so especial this season. None of them want to be the best or the one to score the most, they all want to win together for a common goal, which is another NBA ring. So with each one’s effort, things look remarkably good for the Celtics and all the Boston players are notable because each one contribute and accept their responsibilities.

The expectations so far is that if the Celtics keep going as they are, they will be getting closer to another NBA Finals and possibly will be the favorites to win the title this year again. However, we can’t forget that the Lakers, the Cavaliers, the Magic and the Nuggets are playing really good this season as well and are trying to make the best of each of their teams.

We hope to keep watching great basketball this season and we also hope that teams like the Celtics can teach others how to play together as a team truly should and become the greatest in each stage of the game.

The Celtics have won their 14th consecutive game and if the team manages to win 5 more games, Boston will achieve the best winning streak record in the franchise’s history. Currently, the Boston Celtics haven’t lost for 30 days and they will play Utah in the next game this December 15th at The Garden, where they will try to keep their winning pace.
